3D Modeling
3D models created from photogrammetry play a pivotal role in construction progression. These are 3D virtual models that contain accurate data that is measurable and quantitative.

A top-down 3D view is used to verify the geographical positions and dimensions of footing, foundation, concrete walls and surrounding grade.

An oblique 3D view adds perspective when verifying the elevations of footing, foundation, concrete walls and surrounding grade.

A 3D Point Cloud is a virtual model that accurately reflects a physical asset.
BIM models derived from point clouds are used for as-built reality capture and clash detection in CAD software.
In essence, the use of 3D models enhances the efficiency, accuracy, and collaborative aspects of construction progression ultimately contributing to the successful realization of the project.
