Digital twins create multi-dimensional views of an asset that can be used in many beneficial ways for many stakeholders. The 3D model can be used to get as-built models to aid in BIM. Existing assets can be inspected for structural integrity, troubleshooting and for planning maintenance.
Definition: A digital twin is a 3D computer model that represents the physical asset photographically captured and processed using photogrammetry.
